Applause for Berkley, they are exercising true democracy by protesting the war in Iraq and the federal government who made it possible. Instead of criticizing Berkley, people should learn from them and practice their rights. What Berkley is doing is 100% pro-American and in no way critiques the troops in Iraq, only the government who sent them there. Individuals should be shocked and furious that the federal government is actually going to punish a city for exercising their rights…what a scary world when a group of peaceful protesters are punished by the federal government and people actually agree with it, good thing we are not in N. Korea because that would never happen in America…
The people of Berkeley are right. The war in Iraq is wrong. Bush is wrong. So are the military leaders who lie through their teeth. Yes, protect our country, but don’t force your will on the people. A tough military attitude is not wanted within our borders. It is only needed in a real war. Be a hero, not a war loving jerk.

YES Berkeley, some of us in America actually honor the Marines and the military. Now I know that most of you in Berkeley are spoiled rich kids who have Daddy’s credit card to spend as you wish, and who have no need to worry about College tuition, even while you mock your peers in the military, many of whom joined just so they could get into college as well, and call them “BABY KILLERS” and “WAR JUNKIES” but God forbid you had to live in a country that didn’t have a military to protect you, you would not survive one day!
