Just when you think a post has gone completely ignored, you stumble upon an entire page of discussion around it.

This is an amusing phenomenon I’ve noticed with sites like NiT and VV: because they are a central point of aggregation and readership, the discussion tends to begin and revolve around the post there, rather than the origin host. If you’re not careful, you can start an argument that you don’t even get to participate in, because you miss it entirely.

But not me! Rebuttals forthcoming, once I have some damn free time. In the meantime, I propose this as the quote of the day (well, yesterday):

We’re supposed to restore the vote to felons because blacks commit felonies and we don’t want to seem racist? You wanna lower that percentage? Tell blacks to stop getting pinched for felonies.
