big and rich
21 Mar 2006(See previous post for context.) Okay, apparently Big and Rich is indeed some country band, and not, as I had previously assumed, a clothing store for people that are fat and rich (Possible business opportunity?).
I believe I recognize the toolbag on their website – I think he might have been there as well. I’m not sure if he was “Big” or “Rich”. Anyways, Dear “Big” (or “Rich”): Please tell your rep/manager that speaking engagements about genocide are probably not the best place to push your (probably crappy) band. Most reasonable people (like me) would consider it tasteless, and those reasonable people (like me) might be inclined to call you a goddamned opportunist douchebag. Thanks.
Wow—everything about them, from their Web site, to their “image,” to their names, is powerfully repulsive. And as you said, couple that with the fact that they may or may not have sent a “scout” to that event that you and Amanda attended to drum up some business, and you have gang o’ true-blue bottom-feedin’ biznesspeople. Yuk.
