The only thing I think more disgusting than our barbaric, costly and pointless death penalty was the media circus runup to the Lucky Number 1,000!!!!!

CNN had a rotating display of images of convicts, like it was some fucking sort of sport or lottery. And now that it’s a sealed deal, you’ll note that it’s not even on CNN’s front page at all. Nothing to see here, folks. Party’s over. Move along.
