Amanda and I got the first disc of the first season of Lost from netflix today. We watched the 2 parts of the Pilot. I found it pretty entertaining, but I found myself wishing they didn’t throw in all the freak-out mystery in the jungle. I mean, when a giant plane crashes off-course on a desert island in the middle of nowhere with 40-some survivors, do you really need supernatural shit in the jungle to make things interesting?

Yeah. Good news, though–one of the many things the show did right is mostly keep the focus off the monster in the jungle.
