Amanda and I saw The Royal Tenenbaums last night.

In retrospect, I think it was pretty good.. I thought Luke Wilson and Gene Hackman did great jobs, especially.

Obviously, I went in expecting something like Rushmore, but I didn’t quite get that. Stylistically, of course, it’s very similar, but all in all it’s a very different movie.

It’s one of those movies that I think will grow on me with repeated viewings.
