finances

I have decided that 27 is an acceptable age to start caring about finances.

Step 1: Play the credit game.

Actually, no, Step 1: find all the shit of Amanda’s I am still paying for (today: car insurance) and cancel it.

Step 2: Play the credit game.

On an unrelated note, I realized (thanks Aaron!) last month that I am 27, and not 28, as I’ve been thinking all year. So, that was pretty awesome.

Step 1 (revised) seems kind of like a ‘duh’ thing to me.

You forgot a year? Interesting, considering a lot of women get stuck on 27 and not even intentionally. Few people ask me how old I am any more (because it’s really starting to show, I think), but when they did, I often forgot and really had to think about it. That started happening around birthday 28.

Step 1: cut a hole in a box.
