You’ve all probably seen it by now, but the Scene has a front-page piece on Winnie’s murder. Good to see them trying to raise the visibility of this heinous crime.

I wasn’t really in the mood to get into it at the time (and I’m not sure I am now, either, but fuck it), but I did find it striking how little coverage there was of this murder, and how different that may have been if it was a white woman found shot and set on fire.
