more dissing hitchens

There’s a fairly spectacular collection of quotes here. This one stood out:

“This will be no war – there will be a fairly brief and ruthless military intervention…. The president will give an order. [The attack] will be rapid, accurate and dazzling…. It will be greeted by the majority of the Iraqi people as an emancipation. And I say, bring it on.”

Well, he was at least half right.

It is because of quotes like that one that I have very little respect for Hitchens. Yeah, sure his arguments are bit more “intellectually” based compared to the rest of the pro-war clan. But in the end he’s still making illogical hubris-bursting arguments.

It’s the minority who didn’t greet it as an emancipation who are causing all the problems. D’oh!
