07 Oct 2005I am pretty much in love with Stephen Chow.
Amanda had the great wisdom and foresight to buy Kung Fu Hustle on DVD, and so we watched it again tonight.
I am going to just throw this out here: Best Kung-Fu Movie Ever.
Now, I know there are purists out there that will argue that maybe this movie isn’t pure kung-fu and is thus ineligible, and that’s fine, but I think we’d at least agree that it took the art to the next level and made it even awesomer.
That said, I liked Shaolin Soccer even better – which, I guess, makes it the top dog. I need to buy this one as well.
I got halfway through your post, and was about to say, “It’s no Shaolin Soccer.” But I still like it. Also, if you can find it, I recommend God of Cookery, or whatever it’s called.
