In other news, I was fooling around with the totally awesome Atlas of U.S. Presidential Elections, and decided to make another dumb animated GIF:

This shows the presidential election results for Tennessee from 1960 - 2000. Red is Democrat, Blue is Republican, Green is American.

The conclusion? East Tennessee is solidly Republican. News at 11.
